What we collect, and why

Donations. Online gifts are processed by CanadaHelps, a Canadian public foundation, on their secure platform; we do not see or store your payment card details. For Interac e-Transfer and cheque gifts, we collect your name, mailing address, and email solely to issue your official donation receipt and keep the records the Canada Revenue Agency requires charities to keep.

Contact and prayer messages. When you write to us, we receive the name, email, and message you send, and we use them only to respond and to pray.

Email updates. We add you to our update list only when you expressly opt in — an unchecked box you choose to tick, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email we send identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link; unsubscribe requests take effect promptly.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease our donor or subscriber lists — to anyone, ever. We do not run third-party advertising on this site. We collect nothing about you beyond what you give us directly.

Where your information lives

This website is hosted on infrastructure that may be located in the United States, and our website forms and email tools may process and store information on servers outside Canada. Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We choose reputable providers and share with them only what is needed to operate the site and our communications.

Access and questions

You may ask at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to the records charities are legally required to keep, such as receipting records).
